discussing the History of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi. Am your Host Favour Iyamu.

Narrator: Forty
years ago, a dramatic event occurred in the History of Nigerian Education- the
establishment of the first indigenous Polytechnic in Nigeria-Auchi Polytechnic,
Auchi in the year 1973. Then it had only eight thousand students, few members
of staffs and department. Today, it over thirty thousand students spread across
various departments. Graduates of this great institution are found all over the
world. What a great stride the polytechnic has taken within such a brief
period.
With
me in the studio to discuss this epoch making institution are three dignitaries
from this great institution who will be taking us through the history,
achievement and future prospect of this remarkable institution.

Benjamin Eboriemen is a member of the school’s academic board, sir you are
welcome to the show, Mr. Abraham Obazee is the head of department of Mass
Communication and a brilliant senior lecturer too. Sir you are welcome to the
